Mirth filled the AVM Studio during the launch of Solli Therivathillai. Artists of various folk dance forms of Tamil Nadu put up a beautiful show, adding to the gaiety. Suriyakiran (alias Suresh) announced his arrival in Kollywood in style. The young boy who sweetly cooed 'Daddy, Oh Daddy' in Bhagyaraj's Mauna Geethangal is now a successful director, producer and married to Kollywood actress Kaveri (of Kasi fame).
After providing Tollywood with maximum entertainment, he returned to Kollywood with Athiyayam 6, a film with unique chapter-wise narration. With the film's shooting completed, he has started concentrating on his next Kollywood project, Solli Therivathillai, and has let people know that he is here to stay. But this time, he will only produce the project; Chithiraiselvan, the cameraman of Athiyayam 6, is the director. The film is about the experiences of a young villager in Chennai.
Solli Therivathillai will have a bunch of veteran actors including Manorama, Nasser, Y.G. Mahendran and Kotta Srinivasa Rao in the supporting cast, while the lead actress will be a newcomer. The first schedule has already begun and the hunt for the heroine is still on.
